Cluster Bio Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, who we are?
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is France’s leading region for organic farming, thanks to the wealth and variety of its land, the sheer number of organic farms, and the quality of its production and processing companies that cover cosmetics, wellbeing and spa treatments, household cleaning products and textiles…
To promote the sector, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region set up a cluster in 2006, led by companies and experts firmly focused on a market-driven approach.
Cluster Bio (non-profit association) has three goals:
- promoting the development of new initiatives and innovation,
- offering resources and ongoing support to member companies,
- bringing people together to promote the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes organic market throughout France and the world.

The Drôme has been developing organics since the 70s, and today is France’s leader in the field. The department is an organic hothouse, with a strong local dynamic covering a wide span of areas including farming, the food industry, household cleaning products, cosmetics, wellbeing and spa treatments.
The Drôme is reputed for its farming excellence, especially in tree farming and viticulture, but is also renowned for being at the top of the game in organic farming. The Drôme local authority is co-organising this event as part of its support to promote the organic sector.
